Hey, I’m Maite
Originally from the French Basque Country, I now live in Saint Lucia, surrounded by the ocean that inspires so much of my work and life.
I’m an osteopath, yoga teacher, and wellness guide, but above all, I’m someone deeply committed to living with balance, intention, and connection to nature.
I believe wellness is not something we chase. It is something we cultivate. Through simple daily practices, conscious choices, and a deeper connection to nature, we can create a life that feels balanced, grounded, and aligned. This space is here to support you on that journey.
How My Journey Began
My journey into wellness didn’t begin with a perfect routine or a clear plan. It began during a time when everything felt uncertain.
A painful breakup, intense back pain, and a one-way ticket to a country where I didn’t even speak the language forced me to stop running and start listening to my body, my emotions, and my needs.
That moment changed everything because I had to face somethingI had been avoiding for a long time: myself
I realized that no matter where I went or how busy I stayed, I would never feel truly well unless I started taking care of myself, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.
That moment became the beginning of a long journey of exploration. Instead of following extreme diets or punishing workouts, I began exploring what actually works for real life. I Learned more about the body, understood stress, discovered yoga and reconnected with nature.
Through trial and error and years of professional experience, I slowly started to create a sustainable lifestyle that actually supported my wellbeing and developed a more holistic approach to wellness.
It wasn’t about finding the perfect formula.It was about learning to listen to my body and finding , balance in a way, that felt natural, sustainable, and aligned with the life I wanted to live.

Why This Blog Exists
I created this space to share what I’ve learned through my own journey toward balance. Not as a rulebook, but as a source of inspiration for anyone wanting to feel better in their body and their life.
Wellness looks different for everyone. What works for one person may not work for another, and that’s completely normal. Through this blog, I hope to encourage curiosity, exploration, and the freedom to find what truly works for you.
After years of working with patients and navigating my own challenges, I’ve come to believe that health is not about extremes or rigid routines. It is about small habits, awareness, and creating a lifestyle that supports both your body and your mind.
